Thailand is a Southeast Asian, predominantly Buddhist kingdom almost equidistant between China and India. Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia, bordering Cambodia and Laos to the east, the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia to the south, and the Myanmar to the west. The country's official name was Siam.
