Chiang Mai Stopover Details
Popularly known as the Rose of the North, Chiang Mai is blessed with stunning natural beauty and unique indigenous cultural identity. Founded by King Mengrai the Great as the capital of the Lanna Thai kingdom by merging the various city-states in the region in 1296. Today Chiang Mai is the economic, communications, cultural and tourism centre of Northern Thailand.
Day 1 - Bangkok – Chiang Mai (L)
Arrive Chiang Mai Airport or Train Station and transfer to hotel for accommodation.
Day 2 - Chiang Mai – Handicraft Village (B,L)
Half day morning tour to Handicraft Village. Visit silk & cotton hand weaving centres, umbrella, silverware, lacquerware and wood craving factories.
Day 3 - Chiang Mai – Bangkok (B)
At leisure till transfer from hotels to Chiang Mai Airport or Train Station.
